How was your week? In my Saturn in Aries workshop yesterday, I told our small group that I had practiced a nervous system reset over the past week. My daily routine included a sound bath 1at sunrise and another sound bath before I went to sleep. It helped me tremendously. If you’re feeling anxious or experiencing intense frustration, consider turning to music for healing (Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries square Jupiter in Cancer).

The Moon is waning. Focus on maintenance, not growth. Get a haircut. Mow the lawn. Give something away.

Happy Father’s Day!
Jupiter in Cancer is in an exact square to Saturn in Aries.
Jupiter in Cancer amplifies Cancer’s protective energy to the point of nationalism – a devotion and allegiance to a nation-state and its culture. However, the square aspect is of the nature of Mars, and tells us that nationalism can lead to bigotry, racism, religious conflict and war. We can see this playing out in the Middle East.
Closer to home, this square makes us protective of our home and family. Issues arise, though, if what you are protecting is polluted. Cancer is the sign in which the soul and consciousness emerge in physical form, in esoteric astrology. The legacy you inherited is not worth defending or perpetuating if it is a legacy of abuse and pain. The square is the flaming sword of severance, and the call to “begin again” and to create a new pattern for your descendants.
And another thing that Jupiter in Cancer teaches is this:
Any protective action that is taken to bolster the ego, rather than genuine concern or necessity is not truly protective. Justifying harm is ego-based protection. Blaming others for your mistakes is ego-based protection.
This Jupiter-Saturn square asks you to do something with this knowledge. You can continue perpetuating patterns of lineage (Jupiter in Cancer), or you can connect to your own higher wisdom (Saturn in Aries) and make necessary changes.

Moon enters Pisces 11:08 am
Your Moon affects the field of others, just as the Moon influences the tides. You can pull people in or repel them. Knowing your Moon placement and whether she is in harmony with the transiting Moon or not will help guide you in making important decisions.
Today’s Moon in Pisces, for example, assists other watery Moons (Cancer, Scorpio). Good questions for today (and you can pull Tarot cards for this if you wish) are:
How do I nurture my inner landscape? (Pisces medicine includes chanting, singing, music, and making art.)
How do I – like the Moon - move individuals?
This is a good Moon to channel your dreams or visions, like the Shipibo people do, into pottery, textiles, or paper.
Tuesday 17 June
Mars enters Virgo 1:35 am
Mars, the principle of drive, enters the sign of Virgo under a waning Moon, and the opportunity arrives to reorganize ourselves. The aim is to lean on the Virgoan powers of organization and improvement, but not to mire ourselves in judgment.
When Mars moves through Virgo, we have a chance to be of service and to create something meaningful.
