Hello friend,
How are you? I hope this past week was not too unsettling.
You may remember that the Full Moon in Scorpio on the 12th occurred with the Sun conjunct Uranus. You may remember that I said we can all look forward to something unexpected… this past week was indeed disruptive. It started with a planned 8hr power outage on Tuesday because of electrical service upgrades in our suburb. This was followed by an unscheduled (surprise!) 12hr outage caused by a windstorm. I had to reschedule most of my client readings. Then on Thursday and Friday I had internet issues. I’m typing this while the Sun is exactly conjunct Uranus in my 4H (fourth house). The 4H rules the home and the emotional environment.
Not sure what I mean by “houses”? Download this free astro cheat sheet.
I was born with a Grand Earth Trine (Moon, Saturn, Venus) which means I’m a creature of habit and find predictability and constancy soothing but I’m happy to report that these interruptions didn’t disturb my peace. I lit candles and put pen to paper and was transported back to my youth when I would fill notebooks with drawings and stories.
I went for long walks. This week poppies burst on the scene. Every poppy I’ve seen in full bloom so far is this sunset orange.
Last week I came across a pageant of peonies on a path near a creek. Peonies always make me think of women in taffeta ballgowns. I thought about how the world unfolds in degrees. In the flower kingdom, Crocus and Snowdrop announce the arrival of spring before the procession of beauty begins….
If you get up early to watch the sun rise you’ll know what I mean. Daytime arrives in blushing increments.
I am aware of my own unfolding, and I get to witness this process of illumination and unfolding in my clients. My clients come see me for the peeling away of false constructs and layers of illusion that have prevented them from living fuller and meaningful lives. I like how clarity sets in. I like how they come to realize that the universe is invested in their blooming.
June bookings are now open.
Where to start:
If you’re a new client start with a Birth Chart Reading.
Existing clients are invited to book Follow Up sessions every 2-3 months.
If your birthday is coming up, I recommend you get your Solar Return reading 6-10 weeks before your birthday as your planetary helpers take up office (so to speak) weeks before your actual birthday.
Clients serious about discovering the power of astrology and occult wisdom for radical self-awareness can schedule a free discovery call. Coaching sessions are for those ready to embark on a journey of profound transformation.
Before we dive into the astro-weather for this week here is your invitation to join us for the New Moon in Gemini circle. These circles are led by yours truly and my friend Ciara Roberts. Ciara is a yoga teacher and embodied movement facilitator.
The Week Ahead
*All times are Pacific Time
We’re still in the disseminating Moon phase. You may be sifting through or “integrating” whatever you harvested during the Full Moon. Maybe your harvest was less than favourable and you’re reeling or feeling disappointed... During this phase you’re being asked to practice acceptance of what is. From Tuesday onwards re-evaluate your plan or situation.
Opportunities arise this week to share your knowledge and to act as a guide.

Behind a so-called truth you may uncover a lie or a distortion of facts this season.

Thursday 22 May
Sun in Gemini sextile Neptune in Aries 5:39am
Start the day with meditation. This gentle Sun-Neptune aspect arrives as a reminder that you are not your thoughts or your feelings. The sense of “self” that you have created in your mind is a fabrication. You don’t want to “kill” your ego but you do want to identify more with your spirit which is spacious and loving and free of judgment.
"The greatest miracle is the experiencing of your essential self as prior to any words, thoughts, mental labels and images. For this to happen, you need to disentangle your sense of 'I,' of Beingness, from all the things it has become mixed up with." - Eckhart Tolle
Moon enters Aries 9:25am
Your subconscious has been quietly processing new input. Now you need to do something brave.
