Hello friend,
Today’s Full Moon is the When-The-Berries-Ripen Moon or Strawberry Moon, and I have been picking and eating salmonberries on my forest walks. Over the weekend, Don and I went on a plant identification /foraging walk and learned, among other things, that Huckleberry cannot be cultivated. Scientists speculate that there is something in the forest that fosters the growth of huckleberries. A “something” that cannot be replicated in greenhouses.
So I’m wondering…
What do you require to grow? How do you create the right conditions for your blooming?

I woke up yesterday at 3 am (I checked) from a dream in which a prominent religious figure was giving me a pep talk about my writing projects. I want to divulge this person’s name, but I think he would balk at the idea of being called a “religious figure”. Anyway, I understood that the Universe, or more specifically Jupiter, was confirming that, in a sense, today’s Full Moon in Sagittarius blesses us with “divinely inspiration.”
But, also about “living our truth” because when we share from a place of integrity, we are aligned with our soul’s mission.
One of my favourite humans, Martha Beck, defines integrity as living your truth and being whole within yourself and that “departing from your truth, even in small ways, leads to a split between the ‘truth knower' and the 'lie actor ’ which is duplicity and the enemy of joy.”
Today’s Full Moon has Jupiter conjunct Mercury squaring Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Venus in Taurus squares Pluto in Aquarius and Mars in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus. All these squares evoke the image of a structure on the verge of collapse because of a lack of integrity. Perhaps it’s your love life that’s unravelling or has unravelled, or maybe your career. Perhaps it’s a project that needs to be written off because it has become the “enemy of joy”.
Full moons (often not always) culminate in endings. So, something is likely to be concluded now or over the next two weeks. You will have to look at your Sagittarius house for clues. Whatever is going on at this time is *probably* stressing you out.
This travel-loving Sagittarian Moon will want to “get away”. You may have booked a trip, or you may be contemplating taking some time off.
Answers to questions come in Jupiterian ways …in dreams, in meditation, in conversation with gurus/teachers/religious leaders and yes, through astrologers as Jupiter holds hands with Mercury.
Mercury in Cancer is sextile Venus in Taurus. While this is a lovely aspect that manifests as expressions of love and comforting words, the fact that Jupiter and Mercury are also in a tense conversation with Saturn and Neptune tells me that not all is well at home. If the situation revolves around money or the lack thereof (consider your Aries and Cancer houses), consider discussing it with your partner or creditors and come up with a mutually agreeable arrangement.
The moment we deny our truth, we’re like an airplane that has lost its structural integrity. Honesty is what sets us free to fly.” - Martha Beck

Coming Up…
I still have spots for this Saturday’s Saturn in Aries workshop. I am very excited about this workshop, as it covers everything from the psychological to the magical.
Saturn is in Mars-ruled Aries until April 2028. This 3-year transit is asking you to claim your authority and commit to something meaningful governed by the Aries part of your chart.
This is a small and interactive class. You do not have to be an astrologer or know your chart to join this workshop. All are welcome.
There is only one requirement: You will need a copy of my Saturn in Aries booklet, as we will be working through the book and worksheets.
*Doors close Friday, 13 June at 12 pm.
Here is a short excerpt from my Saturn & Saturn in Aries book.
Saturn’s symbol is depicted as the cross of matter over the semi-circle of soul. This means that Saturn governs the physical plane and is the force behind the Law of Karma. This great law can be broken down further into other laws as follows:
1. As you sow, you shall reap. This is the Law of Cause & Effect. Whatever you put out into the universe will come back to you.
2. Wherever you go, there you are. You cannot change other people or places. You can only change yourself. This is the Law of Growth.
3. You mirror your environment. Your surroundings and the people you choose to associate with mirror your beliefs and what you hold inside you. As within, so without. This is the Law of Responsibility.
4. Rewards of lasting value require patience and persistence effort. This is the Law of Patience.
