The Moon is full at 7º Pisces August 30th at 6:35 pm PT. 

This is the second full month in August which makes her a so-called Blue Moon. A second full moon in the same month does add emphasis to endings so if something was hanging by a thread around the Full Moon in Aquarius (1,2 August) it is now in a sense lost.

I say “in a sense” because the Sun-Saturn opposition over the weekend made it clear that something has failed to take shape and remains formless because at this time you’re still short on the materials required to build a structure in this world of matter. These essential materials may be spiritual and you may be undergoing a process of being shaped by greater forces for purposes beyond your current understanding (Saturn in Pisces). On the other hand it may be that you lack the practical tools or knowledge (Sun in Virgo) to support the structure you are trying to create and are now directed to take the necessary steps to remedy this situation.

For many, this Full Moon culminates in an initiation which heralds a new way of being in the world but can also mean that through discipline and reflection you have attained new knowledge.

Full Moons result in culmination and culmination does not only refer to an attained objective like a university degree for example but also to growth as an outcome.  Full Moons also illuminate and shine a spotlight on the area they occupy.

Look to your Pisces house for clues on what is being highlighted for attention and is in need of Virgo skills like practicality, planning, experimentation and testing.

For example if Pisces is your 2nd house of income and personal resources it may be that you need to create and follow a budget.

Jupiter in Taurus remains preoccupied with the accumulation of resources and is activated by this Full Moon so money and how to get more of it is top of mind.  If you are an artist or a spiritual entrepreneur, this Moon may bring with it an idea that can translate into more money for you. Pay attention to signs and dreams at this time. 

Mars in Libra shows the way (there is a reason Mars symbol includes an arrow. Mars points the way). In Libra, Mars asks us to prioritize partnerships, truth and reconciliation. This made me think of Nelson Mandela who was born with Mars in Libra and understood like Gandhi before him that peace can be achieved through peaceful means and that truth comes before reconciliation.

With Venus preparing to station direct (September 3/4) the month ahead provides ample opportunity for forgiveness and reconciliation if you seek it.  Be open and clear about your needs and whenever and wherever possible meet with other people in surroundings that please Venus -  like gardens and tea rooms especially if you are actively seeking partners and supporters. Sweeten your vocabulary with words that unite - we, together, jointly, collectively - and above all listen more than you speak.
