Full Moon in Leo
Learning to live and play as part of something bigger than ourselves
The Moon is full tomorrow February 5th at 16º Leo. The Sun is in Aquarius and the major aspect is a Moon-Earth separating square to Uranus in Taurus.
As the Moon approached her monthly opposition with Sol you may have felt some discontent with how things are and you're craving something new. This can range from anything from a rush of new sensations and feelings to a new dream. The Leo House in your birth chart will provide you with greater context. For example, if Leo is your 1st House you may be thinking of changing your hairstyle, dress code or how you “show up” in the world.
The Sun-Moon-Earth square indicates that this discontent isn’t new. You’ve been aware for some time now that something has to change or you have to come to accept things as they are.
Uranus tends to bring shocks and surprises and again Uranus' position in your birth chart will reveal where you will probably or have already experienced an unexpected challenge or difficulty. Taurus is my fourth house (4H) of home and our dryer decided to give up their ghost. So an unexpected expense…
Uranus asks us to look at things in an entirely different way. In other words Uranus encourages a change in perception. It will probably be a case of having to put yourself in the other person’s shoes.

The Leo Moon is informed by the Sun because the Sun rules Leo. Everyone wants to feel seen and understood. Everyone craves acknowledgement. The Sun-Moon remind you that the best way to get the acknowledgement you need can be found in community and with others.
Individuals make up a community. I want to talk briefly here about community because not everyone is comfortable with the idea of mingling with other people for long periods of time. You are already part of a community. Let’s say you are the owner of a sit on lawn mower or a snow blower? How often do you use these nice-to-haves? Would other people in your immediate neighborhood benefit from using your mower or snow blower?
This Moon asks how will your creativity and generosity bring joy to others?
And,
how do you play and who do you play with? If you don’t play well with others there’s a chance this Moon will bring a test and an opportunity to change.
Happy Full Moon weekend!
Undergoing a change in perception as I am learning to see endings as just new beginnings. Such a seemingly simple shift but absolutely huge in maintaining a life of gratitude and joy.
